Cindy is the original education-program creator for YEA and a founding Youth Environmental Alliance team member. Her Bachelor of Science degree in computer science makes her an excellent Program director and balances out the YEA team skill set. She is a leader in the community for environmental, healthy eating and gardening education both in-school and outdoors. She is an expert in butterfly gardening and home gardens which lead toward self-sustainability. Cindy is also an expert in cake artistry and making special products for holidays, birthdays, and gifts such as homemade spa products, DIY decorative jars, crafts using up cycled household recyclables and more. She is an educator for young and old, teaching preschoolers about butterflies to adults about homegrown healthy foods.
