About the event
Students will acquire an understanding of the fundamental components necessary for all living organisms to survive: water, air, food, and sun (or energy). Students will engage in a hands-on experiment to learn about the process of photosynthesis, followed by constructing a food web to demonstrate how energy and nutrients may move through the ecosystem. They will also be introduced to the concept of composting by meeting our wiggly worms. We will wrap up with a seed planting activity.
Due to limited space parents must wait outside of classroom or pay $10 to participate.
